Had a brief interview with a creative filmmaker @kkolzzi who visited ‘Rendezvous’ the 5th last month, which is a free improvisation workshop I’ve been hosting for months.
When he suggested the interview, I hesitated a lot because I thought that I still needed more experience. But he said that it was planned for introducing Rendezvous the workshop itself but not for free improvisation in Korea, so I accepted and multi instruments player ‘Passing Josh’ was together as an interviewee.
Was fun and a very meaningful time for me because I could realise my fundamental idea about music itself.

지난달 자유즉흥연주 워크샵
랑데부 (@free.impro_rendezvous ) 5회차 모임에 참여하셨던 우성하 (활동명: 꼴찌PD) @kkolzzi 님께서 새로운 세상을 경험한 흥미로운 시간이었다며 인터뷰를 요청해 오셨어요.
이미 30년 가까이 이어져 온 한국의 즉흥음악씬의 산 증인 되시는 음악가분들을 생각하면 제가 너무 경험치나 아는 바가 없어서 진심으로 주저되었지만, 랑데부를 소개하는 차원으로 생각해 달라는 말씀에 용기를 내어 첫회부터 레귤러 멤버로 함께하고 계신 뮤지션 #지나가던조씨 (@passing_josh ) 님과 함께 인터뷰에 응하게 되엤습니다.
일단 너무 재밌었고, 내용은 예상보다 훨씬 깊었고, 한편으론 의미있는 시간이었어요. 음악에 대한 제 생각도 정리할 기회가 되었거든요

참! 마지막 사진은 마침 지난달 한국에 연주일정차 방문했던 시리아 출신의 월드뮤직 클라리넷 연주자 Ghaeth Almaghoot (@almaghoot ) 가 랑데부 5회차 참여자들과 함께 찍은 사진입니다. 시리아의 냉전과 지진사태에 대해서도, 잠시나마 함께 마음을 모으기도 했답니다.
