태산이 높다 하되 – 서린사랑 (Serene & Sarang)
The old song “Although the mountain is high”, one of the ‘Jeongga’ (a genre of Korean Traditional Music), was played by ‘Serene & Sarang’ ( @serene.sarang) in Rotterdam, NL in March 2017.
Serene and I expect that you could see our attempt to mix two different worlds, Korean traditional music and western free improvisation, in BIG RESPECT and very carefully.

2017년, 우연히 네덜란드에서 만나게 된 정가가창자 ‘서린’과 저는 요즘
우리나라의 전통음악을 사랑하는 마음으로 첫 음반을 구상하고 있습니다.
이 영상에서 들으실 수 있는 평시조 ‘태산이 높다하되’ 는
피아노의 자유 즉흥연주로 공연에 섰던 당시의 모습이고요, (좀 많이 난해하죠?ㅋㅋ)
음반에는 우리나라의 전통곡들을 좀 더 편안하게 편곡하여 실을 예정이랍니다.
